RoadScope Certified Route Planner (RCRP)
To recognize individuals who can professionally plan, survey, analyze, validate, and document OS/OW routes according to the RoadScope Standard.
Certification Levels
- RCRP-A — Associate: Entry-level certification demonstrating foundational knowledge. Requirements: Completed Core Training.
- RCRP-P — Professional: Professional-level certification for practicing route planners. Requirements: Core Training, Advanced Training, Passed Exam.
- RCRP-E — Expert: Expert-level recognition for industry leaders. Requirements: Professional certification, Peer review, Knowledge base contribution.
Exam
Format: Case study based · Style: Open-book
- Analyze a load and select corridors
- Identify constraints from sample data
- Produce a route summary and defend it
Renewal
Renews every 2 years. Requirements: Short update module, Declaration of continued practice, Optional retest if standards change.
